Pleased with my purchase of this high quality yoga/pilates mat. Although Kurma is not as well known as the Manduka brand, I also own a Manduka Pro Lite, in my IMHO its the the same quality and was cheaper.As a 500 hr yoga teacher and practitioner -I own [and have used] a multitude of yoga mats...and I must say I Absolutely Love this mat! There is a no slip grip with this KURMA mat that I have never experienced on any other mat I’ve used or own. The grippiness applies to both your feet and on your floor surface—and no matter what your posture or movements; when hopping back to chaturanga in a vinyasa flow or taking a hot sweaty yoga class I always feel steady and strong on this yoga mat!
